Talk about a dream matchup! The Saints offense is operating at such a high level it's ridiculous. Hell, they put up 27 in Buffalo, and that is considered a hiccup. At home, this team puts up 224 points at home last season, and has already put up 93 at home this season(!). While I don't expect that kind of offense against our D, they are gonna score some points (I'm thinking high 20's, low 30's). Remember, with injuries to Sheppard and Strickland, we're thin at DB, and Revis can only cover one guy. Brees throws to 8 different guys every game. This is a nightmare to defend.

So to beat them, we're gonna have to score a lot of points, which I think we can do, provided Sanchez takes better care of the ball than he did last week. The Saints defense is not as bad as everyone says. They are ranked 15, which is upper half of the league. They have allowed the 9th most passing yardage this season, but are 5th against the run. Those stats are skewed, however, because the rate that they score points frequently has teams abandoning the run early to play catch-up.

I knew the TN game would be a close one, and it was. This game I just don't think we can win. If it was in The Meadowlands, then I thihk we'd have a shot. In the dome, though, I just can't see how we can win. 34-28 NO for our first loss. Sorry.

If I wasn't a fan of the Jets, I would probably be sick of this matchup already.
