According to ESPN, Al Davis has sent Lane Kiffin a letter of resignation asking him to resign. I don't understand why Davis doesn't try to allow a staff to actually stay and try to establish themselves for more than one season. Crazy bastard.

Mortenson's reporting that Davis wants Dennis Green as his replacement. After what went down with him in Arizona, he seems to fit the absurdity of that franchise a bit better

    Good call.

It's all good in my book. AT least some things are consistent. The raiders will continue to be a laughing stock in everything except Tecmo Bowl.

Al Davis: Oh, the phone is ringing. Hello? *picks up pet cat and holds it to his ear*
