yeah just looked into it, i could get 3 eurosport channels and a sky news channel but no sky sports channel. Oh well, slingbox it is.
I've signed up for the Yahoo NFL gamepass again, this year in HD  Sky sports is also available on Sopcast.

that is awesome, first I'm hearing about this. So it is basicaly the Sunday Ticket on the computer, nice. How is the quality?
I gave up on Sky a few years ago, when we had an important game to qualify on the last weekend of the season and Sky showed 4 matches that meant absolutely nothing. Thanks to the internet I'll be watching every second of the Jets this season, like I've been able to do for 2 seasons now. Which is pretty amazing when all I used get 20 years ago was the occasional Live Jets game on 'Armed Forces Radio,' which shared space with some Spanish station. LOL UK TV hates the Jets too.
Too expensive for me with a baby on the way. Plus my hormonal fiancée wants to make the house a sports-free zone. May have to do some serious negotiation to get to see some of these games.
You weren't kidding, I just checked out the demo for the HD game pass, the quality was top notch. With the season pass, can you flick through the channels and watch multiple games at once, is that how it works?
Gus, will Jets games that are being carried on Sky be blanked out for the Gamepass service? I would actually prefer the pure Gamepass broadcast to the tripe Sky puts on (can't stand Cadle and Halling!) Also, last year the Jets-Phins game was on the red button and the service was dire. They kept missing plays coming out of commercials and it froze up a couple of times. The Week 1 game will be on the red button so I hope it's improved! I've seen the Gamepass HD demo and it is seriously good. I'll be paying for the odd game I think...
Wouldn't the absolute best deal be for you guys to find TGG posters who are running with a slingbox? From what I understand, you'd be able to watch it real-time and without cost, overseas.
Hmm, not really a priority given her health right now - less stress the better, don't want to lose another baby.
