Please post a comment for little Jeff Reinebold . He has our draft ranked as a D ?? The Phins/Pats/Bills as a B hmy: http://www.nfluk.com/features/afcdraftreview_040509.html#pagetop
If the Superbowl goes to London I will book a plane ticket to London, visit all the wonderful tourist spots and then assassinate the queen. You have been warned.
fascinating that TO was added in a draft review... clueless moron. he says nothing to the extent of why its a D, but he gives it anyway. Tell him to stick to s o c c e r. The bills draft was not impressive, and he made no mention of Eric Wood, the other 1st round pick.... i put no stock in his evaluation.
I awlays laugh how people fall over themselves to give the Pats great grades on these draft things. If you actually look at who they drafted over the last few years its really not that impressive a haul, they get way too much credit for fluking with Brady in the 6th round all those years ago (and lets face it it was a total fluke, if they had any real inkling as to his potential he would've gone several round earlier to them.
Jeff Reinebold is wide receivers coach at SMU. I'm not saying I agree with his comments, and he has Slauson as a third-round pick, which is lazy, but he isn't a soccer guy trying to write about football.
NFL UK = poor mans NFL.COM PS Gus you oughta be worrying about that championship football nxt year!!! lol!
He also has Shonn Greene as our 2nd round pick and the 65th pick overall. Now, c'mon guy. He clearly has no clue.
He certainly gets about , he was D line coach at Hawaii too , last season (I think) I've met him on a couple of occasions now at coaching clinics and hes a great motivational speaker, and he does know his stuff normally. This was either written as he was on his way to work or not by him. It'll be a damn good thing. Stopped going to games , too many A-hole supporters who think its our right to be in the prem , dickheads.
Well, Shonn Greene was the 65th pick overall (1st pick of the 3rd round). However, he also calls Slauson our "third round pick."
they did. Butler and brace made me annoyed that they got good players, but it didn't dent my excitement for sanchez.
Never said he had a clue! I was just saying he isn't a soccer guy. The more I look at his piece, the more it seems to have been written in half a minute and not checked, but that's what you get a lot of the time when one person tries to write about the entire league. I could sound very authoritative on the Jets, but would no doubt sound like an idiot on every other team.
This is a good point - its easy to know everything about a single team - harder when you have to cover the whole league. Still, it was a very lazy article.
We drafted 3 guys sure, but we signed a bunch of good looking undrafted free agents. And also got a pro bowl corner back for a 5th round pick. I think this offseason/ draft was pretty succesful
