Tyrone Moss is a pretty good back, and is worth a pick in rounds 4-7, he just was unfortunately part of one of the worst Offenses in the country this year, I feel that he can be an everydown back. He is a mix of a Slasher and a power runner...His stats aren't in his favor either, as he split many carries with frosh RB Travarris James

I was never impressed with the guy to be honest. Maybe it was because he was on such a terrible offense, but I think that speaks volumes about how good he is.

He could make a nice powerback. He certainly has that size (5-9 232) and he ran in the 4.7 range I think. Looks like a solid situational runner in the late rounds (5-7 is my guess).

Anyone else impressed with that 4.70 fourty yard dash?

He was already supposed to be a late pick, but now he should be happy to be drafted...........

He's playing too big for his body. He should be ten pounds lighter.

I was never impressed with this guy. The insinuation that he would be a Frank Gore clone is patently absurd. Frank Gore was a ridiculous talent who suffered catastrophic injuries. Moss was a nice college player.

I'd prefer Deshawn Wynn. 5'11" 233 under 4.4 in the 40. He didn't get the ball much at Florida, but managed to average just under 5 yards a carry when he did. i think he might compliment Leon well, in that he can run with poer, but he can also bounce it outside, so teams do not always think it will be up the middle with the "powerback" like they did with Barlow/Houston.

Moss will never be a player in the NFL, terrible work ethic, had a few bad injuries, and just flat out isn't good enough. When a guy can't cut any weight for two years after an injury, red flags should go up.

All this sounds like stuff people said about Frank Gore (plus the serious injury history).

No, because Frank Gore was an unbelievable talent before he ever got injured. Ty Moss was OK before getting hurt, then had a few decent years overall. Frank overcame his issues at the NFL level thanks to developing a great work ethic (and just the fact that he was able to graduate says a lot about him) once he realized that he needed to get his stuff together if he wanted to be a success.
