If it is true that Hill broke the kid's arm, then there is really no excuse for that. He is only 3 years old! The Chiefs are looking REALLY bad right now.
I bet it’s a break above the elbow. Very common break for kids that age that are handled roughly , to be polite about it. Parent/adult gets mad and snatches the kid’s arm and breaks right there, 2” or so above the elbow.
With his history, and now this new report, it would be hypocritical for the Chiefs to keep him on the team, after releasing Hunt. However, he is one of the best WR's in the NFL, so I am not sure how they will handle it.
The video of Hunt is the difference. They will probably keep Hill until the picture becomes a little clearer.
Yes indeed but really the video of Hunt is really quite tame in violence, a lot of yelling and shouting some shoving and then that "Kick" at the end, the breaking of a toddlers arm is a hell of a lot worse. Again though it needs proving and not just with the claims being dropped etc
I'm still going to defend him for the hotel incident since it was Kareem Hunt and not Hill...... Think the Chiefs and Dorsey would have learned after Belcher killed his wife and drove to the facility to shoot himself in the head to avoid certain players with the same character concerns.....
Ooops, hahahahahaha!!! I'm TERRIBLE with names, especially men's names. Good luck if your name is Steve, Rob, Mark or Mike. They're all interchangeable for any occasion! A lot of times I avoid saying the person's name if at all possible unless I hear someone else say it first. It's gotten me out of trouble so many times I've lost count.
Not Dorsey: Hey John, there's this scumbag who wants to play for us. Dorsey: Is he really good at football? Not Dorsey: Yes. Dorsey: Is there a video? Not Dorsey: No. Dorsey: Sign that beast!
Haha, I know, that's why I used it. At least I didn't get that part wrong! Well, I had the right team, so partial college credit? Anyone? : p
lol EDIT: I neglected to add in my defense that not only do they play for the same team, but they they both have the "ee" sound in their first names and both of their last names start with H. I did this with someone else, too (can't remember who it was right now) because I couldn't keep my DV arrests straight. If you think I'm bad, years ago some relatives of mine took their grandkids to see Ronald McDonald. Well, one of them came home and said the kids had fun with Rudy McDoody and the other one said no, it's Rowdy McDowdy. I laughed so hard I almost choked to death. That's a true story. All of my stories are true. So I guess what's next is I'll start calling one of them Tyreek Hunt and the other one Kareen Hill. Patterns of nature, you know.
OK, this is really off-color given the seriousness of the situation, but my best friend (growing up) Mark and I HATED top 40 music in HS and I just wanted to share the gallows humor and incongruousness. Well, it's kind of incongruous. We would substitute lyrics to songs we detested. Our ode to domestic violence 'Open Arms' by Journey': So now I come to you, with broken arms Nothing to hide, believe what I say So here I am with broken arms Hoping you'll see what your love means to me Broken arms You have to understand we were two peas in a pod. He was in a 'band' (it was him on shitty electic guitar, his friend on drums <=== who was actually really good, and another friend on shitty bass). They just did if for fun after school. My favorite was a song called 'Red Red'. And it went like this! "RED RED YOUR MOTHER'S DEAD! RED RED YOUR MOTHER'S DEAD! RED RED YOUR MOTHER'S DEAD! RED RED YOUR MOTHER'S DEAD! RED RED? RED RED! RED RED YOUR MOTHER'S DEAD! RED RED RED RED RED RED RED RED RED RED YOUR MOTHER'S DEAD!!!" It would go on for hours. Looking back on it, it was fabulous simple genius. Philip Glass has nothing on 'Red Red'.
A new recording has been released, and the Chiefs are asking him not to participate in team activities, as they look into it. https://www.kctv5.com/news/investig...cle_16991194-67ad-11e9-98f9-c7214b78938f.html
Just when it looked like he was going to get away with it... Both parents should be charged and the child placed with a family who will actually care for him. It's really sad.
The calls for the Chiefs to release Hill are shortsighted. If they release him some other team (Cleveland) is going to sign him the moment his suspension is up. This is on the police to get the evidence to put Hill in jail if he in fact beat up on his kid. And on Goodell to kick him out of the league if the evidence warrants it.
The Browns won't wait. They will sign him pre suspension. Doesn't get paid and doesn't take a roster spot. Basically free rights on the player. We know Dorsey doesn't care about character.
