They involve an over eager rookie wide receiver and an inexperienced receiving tight end who hesitated with the game on the line.

That last play was definitely intended to be a back corner fade for Decker. Davis fucked up his route like a jackass and ran in the way.

A smarter player would have made up for it. If Marshall were in his place he would've reacted when Decker got boxed out and put himself in position to make a play instead of freezing like a deer in headlights.

Have to include Decker's 3rd down drop of an easy 1st down that led to the horrible 4th down sideline throw to Marshall 3yrds shy of the 1st down marker.

Chain Gailey is what I call an over complicated play caller ....4th and goal to take the lead and they take a shot at Kellen Davis who has caught 12 passes in 4 years.....then on 3rd and 10 down by 12 with under 10 minutes he calls a qb sneak?Has this clown ever heard of simple?

Or not. Fitz just confirmed that Kellen was the intended receiver. I'm going to bed.

I think Fitz actually called an audible on the quarter back sneak (and if he knew the Jets were in go-for-it on fourth mode, picking up five yards on third down wasn't the worst decision). Agreed on Kellen Davis though (shades of the Seahawks in the Super Bowl on that one); and that awful bubble screen to Marshall on fourth and two.

The decker drop was pretty bad. He catches that and we probably score a TD that drive.

When it's crunch time, I want the ball in Kellen's hands.

I'm sure it was a play they practiced. He was wide open he just never got his head around

Why was Smith suddenly returning a punt when he hasn't done it all year. That fumble cost us the game.
