Will the game next week be on Sunday Night Football?? After all it would be a game to help decide the division, and we all know how much networks love the Pats.

Is there another game on the schedule that CBS would protect over the jets game that week?

Um, every game helps decide the division. It won't DECIDE the division, though.

NE is on Sunday night this week, Philly at Chicago next.

    Me too.

I prefer drinking earlier in the day on Sundays.

I don't think so. Isn't there a 10 day advance thing? They would have to choose it before Sunday's results. Not to mention, the Patriots are on Sunday Night Football this week vs. the Colts. So I am pretty sure Jets-Pats won't be moved.

It's doubtful that NBC would give up the Eagles-Bears game.
Two big markets, both teams still in contention, and one of the them is one of the most storied franchises in the league

I don't think the flex schedule for Sunday night games starts until after Thanksgiving.

It seems like every Sunday Night game is some combination of Chargers, Colts, Patriots

The flex schedule starts with the 11/22 Sunday night tilt. However, as I noted earlier, I don't think the game tentatively scheduled for that Sunday night will be moved.

I don't know if they would use the same team on 2 consecutive Sunday nights.

BTW, it the Colts beat the Pats and the Jets beat the Jaguars, the Jets would control their own destiny for the division. I know there is a long way to go, but I thought it interesting.

We suck in those games. Sanchez is a rookie and it's a national stage. The game does not flow the same in those games because of all the commercials etc....

Please, don't go there. Just looking at that reminds me of all the other times it was true also and the Jets cherked down the stretch.

The better way to describe it would be: the Jets can win that game and still back in as a wild card if 3 other things go just right on the last weekend of the season while they're losing their finale.

He's just having his fun. Personally I can't think much past the Jville game. It's not like the Jets beat Jville every time they play them. They lose that game and you can pretty much write off the season. If you haven't already...

The Jets/Pats game won't get moved.

I have season tickets and we were notified about a month ago that the time of this game is protected.
