I usually don't do these but i'm gonna give it a shot, get some discussion and kill some time since we're a mere 5 days away from draft day.

    1. Houston Texans - Reggie Bush. The most explosive player in the draft. Don't buy the smoke-screens of Mario Williams. Bush has elite speed and shiftiness like no other, good vision and can break it outside great. Problem is he was never a 25 a time running back since USC had LenDale White. So, like Ronnie Brown last year, it'd be very wise for Kubiak to split up Bush and Davis to keep them fresh since Bush won't be able to handle a full workload from the start...

    2. New Orleans Saints - Mario Williams. They do have 2 former 1st rounders in Will Smith and Charles Grant. But losing Darren Howard, they could want a true freak, 6'7 290 and runs a 4.7. Smith and Williams could be a dynamic duo in this league, to an already stacked DE combo division(Abraham-Kerney, Peppers-Rucker, Rice-Spires)

    3. Tennessee Titans - Matt Leinart. Norm Chow factor. The most NFL ready QB to me since Peyton Manning. Possesses leadership, toughness, good touch and pretty good accuracy. Good size 6'4 225. Arm-strength isn't great, but good. Elbow surgery before his senior season, is a statue in the pocket, cannot evade the pocket, so it is key to build a good OLine around him.

    4. New York Jets - D'Brickashaw Ferguson. Started at Virginia being 265 pounds. Now is up up 312 pounds, and playing weight should be around 305. Elite pass-blocker, has started at LT since his freshman year. Run-blocking is a weak part in his game, could get over-powered...A team with weak a weak OLine. D'Brick could be what the doctor ordered.

    5. Green Bay Packers - AJ Hawk. The safest pick in the draft to me. Can start him from week 1 and expect him to contribute immediately. Giving Nick Barnett someone along-side him...Good speed and a excellent tackler, can grab down a RB side-line-to sideline...Very instinctive and good in coverage. Will excel in either a 3-4 or 4-3...

    6. San Fransisco 49ers - Michael Huff. Could go Vernon Davis but I went with Huff since Nolan is a defensive guy trying to build his defense. Could jump all over Hawk in a possible trade up since losing Andre Carter and Julian Peterson. Huff contains excellent coverage and has a nose for the ball, has the ability to play Corner but will more likely play Safety. Mike Rumph is moving back to CB, and Huff would make a nice duo of him and Tony Parrish. Excellent range.

    7. Oakland Raiders - Vince Young. Al Davis wants to make a splash, Art Shell comes back and is looking for a franchise QB. Though Young is a major project due to his throwing-style, not being too familiar taking the snap under center, played in a great college-system that won't translate into the NFL. Has good speed to rollout the pocket, but will not run nearly as sucessful as he did in college. A winner and leader, and he could easily have success with Randy Moss and Jerry Porter as your WR's.

    8. Buffalo Bills - Winston Justice. - DT could be a big selection(Ngata,Bunkley) since losing Pat Williams last offseason and now Sam Adams. But their OLine has always been a weakness. Buffalo cut 1st round bust Mike Williams this offseason. Wayne Gandy is nothing more than a backup, so Tackle is a major problem. Good size being 6'6 319, wonderful pass-blocker. Quick-feet and lot of potential. Played RT at USC, could play LT...

    9. Detroit Lions - Vernon Davis. What!? Offense again!? Marcus Pollard is solid but is 32/33 years old. Davis brings another dimension to a Mike Martz run offense...Would have all the potential of the world with Kevin Jones, Mike Williams, Roy Williams and Charles Rogers...Would have playmakers everywhere for Kitna to spread the ball around. 6'3 260 pounds and runs a 4.38, freakish athlete and a workout warrior. Good hands and excellent run-after-the catch ability. Blocking is very weak, a flaw in his game, but that can be worked on.

    10. Arizona Cardinals - Haloti Ngata. Denny Green is still trying to build this defense...Gets Antrel Rolle back from injury, along with 2005 Pro-Bowler Bertrand Berry. A young defense. And would love a run-stuffer such as Ngata to pair up with Darnell Docket. 6'4 338 pounds! Tore his ACL in 03', good push off the line and can clog the middle as good as anyone. Great prospect. Would love Vernon Davis at

    11. St. Louis Rams - Tye Hill. - Some would argue Jimmy Williams is better. Has excellent speed and on that turf, will pay off wonderfully. Physical corner but is only 5'9 185. Solid against the run and a great cover corner.

    12. Cleveland Browns - Chad Greenway. - Getting Willie McGinnest helps, but how much more does he have left? Andra Davis is a stud...Greenway adds another LB to a 3-4 defense, can never have enough LBs. Excellent tackler, great rusher off the edge, good coverage LBer...Knee surgery in 02', will overpursue at times. Cleveland would love Ngata here, so he can learn under Ted Washington in the 3-4 NT.

    13. Baltimore Ravens - Jay Cutler. Drops a little bit, but with the problems of Kyle Boller, this would be make sense for Baltimore. Strong arm, can rollout and throw accurately, will stand in the pocket...Makes very questionable throws and decisions. Would benefit greatly if he can sit a year behind Steve McNair(If Tennessee cuts him)

    14. Philadelphia Eagles - Ernie Sims. Dhani Jones was on the verge of being cut, Shawn Barber is coming off surgery, so OLB is a weak point. 230 pounds, so obviously a weak-side linebacker who could get alot out of Jim Johnson. Fast linebacker who can chase down RB's, can lay the wood and is a good tackler. 5'11 230 he can get mauled by a guard or TE, overpursues at times...Size is the biggest concern.

    15. Denver Broncos - DeAngelo Williams. Shanahan gets a tough/bruising back with good speed. Has questioned Tatum Bell's ability, and Ron Dayne is not the long-term answer. Though this system can produce any RB, they would get a steal in Williams. Excellent burst and can get past the linebackers in a blink, smart player and patient. Durability a concern and has been worked alot at Memphis.

    16. Miami Dolphins - Manny Lawson. - Overshadowed because of Mario Williams. 6'5 240 with elite speed, excellent pass-rusher off the egde for a defense looking to stock up at LB since they could be shifting to a 3-4. Can get over-powered, needs to shed blocks better...Could make a great tandem with Channing Crowder...

    17. Minnesota Vikings - Jimmy Williams. - Shifting to a Cover-2 base, would love Ernie Sims right here since Mike Tomlin knows the Tampa-2 being their secondary coach...Antoine Winfield and Fred Smoot are a good tandem, Williams has the ability to play Safety as well. Has great speed and hits like a linebacker, but can be over-agressive and miss tackles...Darren Sharper getting older so Williams could be his eventual replacement...

    18. Dallas Cowboys - Jason Allen. Excellent speed that Dallas is looking for in a FS, someone who can play centerfield. Good size and can help support in the run game. Good potential and could be a steal. Durability a concern and isn't a sure tackler...

    19. San Diego Chargers - Richard Marshall. Traded away former 1st rounder Sammy Davis for Rashaun Woods. Have no depth at all at CB. Quentin Jammer and Drayton Flroence are solid, Jammer has not lived up to being taken 4th overall. Good speed and is a ballhawk, under the radar player who has great cover-skills. Only a 2 year starter at Corner, but has upside.

    20. Kansas City Chiefs - Antonio Cromartie. Coming off an ACL injury, very little experience, missed all of 2005. 6'2 208 with great speed, nose for the ball and a hard-hitter. May be the best Cover-corner in this draft, helps in run-support very well...

    21. New England Patriots - Santonio Holmes. Small size being only 180 pounds but contains great speed. Pats lost Davis Givens in free agency and Troy Brown may retire next season, so a receiver oppposite Deion Branch is key. Good hands, but could struggle getting off the line.

    22. San Fransisco 49ers - Chad Jackson - Desperately need to give Alex Smith more weapons. Wonderful size 6'0 213 and is a speedster. Solid hands and a good route runner, will go over the middle and will help Smith in the redzone. Jackson and Free-Agent pickup Antonio Bryant could be a solid duo.

    23. Tampa Bay Bucs - Ashton Youboty. A reach this high, but the Bucs have no depth at CB. Ronde Barber is getting older, Brian Kelly is wanting a contract, and Juran Bolden is nothing more than a Nickel corner. Still in the Charles Woodson sweepstakes, and then could focus on another position. Like a Eric Winston or Davin Joseph. Good size and speed, good tackler and will help in the run-game, which is key in the Tampa-2. Hasn't played up to his ability and coaching from Monte Kiffin will pay dividends.

    24. Cincinatti Bengals - Kamerion Wimbley. Defense still a major weakpoint. Can be a nickel-pass rusher from the start but needs to improve on his run-stopping due to his lack of size, 6'3 248. May be a product of Mickey Andrew's system...

    25. New York Giants - Kelly Jennings. Losing Will Allen and most likely Will Peterson, 2 former 1st rounders. Sam Madison and RW McQuarters are obviously short-term answers...Corey Webster is the only Corner with potential and is young. Very small frame being 178 pounds but has excellent speed and cover-skills, doesn't play small and will man-up with top receivers, very smart, plenty of experience and can build on his frame. Not very good in run-support, weight is the major concern but that can be adressed.

    26. Chicago Bears - Gabe Watson. Already have a great DLine with Ogunleye-Brown and Harris but could want a dominant run-stopper next to Harris. Watson being 339 pounds, could fill that role and make one of the best defenses in the NFL, better. Will free up Urlacher without question and can cause havoc as a rusher. Horrible work-ethic, plays lazy at times, doesn't play up to his ability, inconsistent...Possibly Ron Rivera and Lovie Smith can get the potential and talent he has out of him, could be a steal if plays up to potential...

    27. Carolina Panthers - DeMeco Ryans. Already have a Top-5 defense and will add a dynamic player such as Ryans. Thomas Davis will be moving to the weak-side due to the departue of Will Witherspoon and form a very good LB core along with Dan Morgan. Smart player who tackles up very well. Not a good coverage linebacker, will have trouble taking on blockers but has the talent.

    28. Jacksonville Jaguars - Max-Jean Gilles. Extremely big guard clocking in at 6'3 355. Can dominate a defensive tackle and gets good push. Though big, he could ware down, is inconsistent at times and sometimes gets lacksadasical. Plenty of potential

29 - New York Jets - Bobby Carpenter. Moving to a 3-4 defense, the Jets need an OLB who can contribute since Bryan Thomas will not fixture well as an OLB...Great size 6'2 256, good instincts and good speed. Could thrive in a 3-4 defense as a pass-rusher. Overshadowed by AJ Hawk...Sideline-to-sideline speed and an excellent pass-rusher. Not a great tackler, needs to wrap up better, can be overagressive and doesn't take on blocks well. Underrated player.

30 - Indianapolis Colts - Laurence Maroney. Losing Edge James hurts, so RB becomes a big need. Patient back who has excellent burst with size and vision. Can run-away from safties...May be a top guy to due to the system, but has ability...Plenty of weaknesses, bad hands out of the backfield, something James excelled in...

    31. Seattle Seahawks - Jonathan Joseph. Still in the running for Ty Law so things could change. Cut Andre Dyson due to cap-reasons...Marcus Trufant is set at CB but Kelly Herndon is better suited as a Nickel corner. Joseph has great speed and helps in the run game very well, good recovery speed and will stay stride for stride with most receivers. Plenty of talent but durability is a concern...

    32. Pittsburgh Steelers - Nick Mangold. Jeff Hartings is getting up in age, and Mangold is the best Center in this draft. Could bulk up his 300 pound frame but he moves quick, smart player who can guide a offense. Not dominant and will struggle against big defensive tackles...

    *Missing the 1st round
    1. Sinorice Moss
    2. LenDale White
    3. Donte Whitner
    4. Marcus McNeill
    5. Tamba Hali

    *Jets #35 - Thomas Howard

Looks good except I dont think we would take Howard and Carpenter.

Seems like it would be one or the other.
