Love the show. Along with "Sons of Anarchy" on FX, it is my favorite new show. It is very very well written too. Can't wait for next season.
I did watch most of the episodes, HBO did a good job of repeating them, haven't caught the finale as yet. Love vampires movies, this one is a unique take, the season should have been longer though, I was disappointed that the only really hot chick on the show was killed early on (Dawn) other than that, the sex and nudity is great!!
Saw the 1st episode when it aired and thought it was pretty stupid, but now that my friend told me that Anna Paquin and Lizzy Caplan are both naked in it, I suddenly feel inclined to give the show a second chance.
yeah some hot broads. i thought the story was good originally but that show jumped the shark with me with the shape shifting bullshit. i just look for the eye candy, and although the sex scenes are graphic nothing can take the place of a good old fashion porno. i mean really once you watch a porno titled "roccos obsession with teen super sluts" nothing on hbo is really gonna do anything for you.
I was a bit disappointed with this show, it is such a great concept but the show just fails to deliver. It's good but could be better.
Most shows on HBO or Showtime are awesome. This follows suit. Can't wait for next season to find out what exactly the thing that is taking care of Tara really is. And I knew Rene was the killer... very happy to know I was right on that one.
I could have started watching it since it's first episode (airs before Entourage) but I just never stayed with it. After watching the tail end of the season finale on Thanksgiving, I think I am going to watch every episode. My father recorded every one, so it won't be a problem watching it. I have plenty of time by the summer to catch up on the episodes.
i actually didn't like it after the 1st episode.... and I hated the intro song too.... now i enjoy everything about the show..... give it one more shot :beer:
Nah. My wife watches it (and she just bought a box set of the books) but it holds zero interest for me. TV disappoints me more often than not. Hell, if it were up to me, a tv would be used for nothing but sports and porn.
There are a few but I record everything and watch them because time is of the essence nowadays... btw, Ali Is it me or does Cowher in your sig look like he's wearing a fuking Star Trek TNG uniform!!! ? :lol:
I've sat through a few episodes, but I thought the concept was so friggin' dumb I completely lost interest. Not that it didn't suspend my disbelief, I just thought it was stupid. The blood substitute blah blah, couldn't get past it. Besides, what's with the idiotic 'vampire' trend that's permeating everything more than ever these days, anyway? Anything that has 'trend' written on it instantly bores me (always has), but I guess that's neither here nor there. Give me 'Rome' or 'Deadwood' any day of the week, thanks. I should try to play catch up on 'Dexter'. I've only seen a handful of episodes when it first came out, liked it, completely lost track of it.
