... Or down, depending on what exactly they were looking for in the scope.

minor knee scope, not anything major, but could help him drop to 16

Thats the big thing, can it knock em outta the top 10 (which imo it should)

Its nothing like Mark Barron's injury, but at the same time this is a pretty huge blemish for a HB wanting to go in the top 10.

I mean HBs and knee problems, can really dog ya.

Look at Beanie Wells, this guy is loaded with talent, but I have little doubt hes gonna have a pretty damn short career

Unless we plan on trading up for t-rich he will never be a jet, which I know most people on this board are against. The Bengals will surely trade up ahead of us to get a top 5 talent past number 10 or even sooner. So unless we want to get into a bidding war with the Bengals who are desperate for a runningback, t-rich will not be a jet, nor will he ever drop to 16. So I feel like this pipe dream should come to an end.

While I think your theory is correct that the Bengals trading up is a huge threat, you also have to consider who the teams are just in front of us.

Dallas needs - OLB/OL if they trade down we could take their guy
    Arizona- Same
Eagles - OL, trade down we can take their guy

Seattle/Chiefs I dont really know their needs as well, but it would cost the Bengals at least a second to move up this far, and I know they have an interest in Lamar Miller as well along with plenty of needs all around.

Dont get me wrong I still think Cinci has a better chance at getting him than we do, but at the same time I wouldn't be shocked if the Bengals arent willing to trade up for him.

Especially since they recently said they want to give Scott a bigger role

Bengals have a history of staying put. Richardson's injury will have no effect on where he is drafted. He's going in the top 10.

It's a non-concern. He could do drills, but why bother? He has nothing to prove that he can't do at Bama's pro day.

Knee injuries are often making players slower, so I guess that even a minor knee injury could cause a minor drop in his speed. I hope this kid will be ready for a 40 yard dash on his Pro Day.

Honestly, I hope he bombs the 40 yard dash. Why want a potential stud that can free fall to do well knowing he is a beast come game day? With a mediocre 40 time, teams could pass up on him and his chances of being there at 16 become a little bit better.

God I hope you're right. I can just see TRich dropping to the #11 spot, and Tanny pulling a Ditka trade of his whole draft to move up and take TRich.

I wouldn't put it past Tanny if other teams were also seeking to trade up for Richardson. He thinks he has to make a big splash, and he falls in love with players and has to have them.

hes never ditka'd though. the closest he came was going after Sanchez, and that in actuality only cost us a 2nd round pick.

Tanny isnt insane. He won't completely throw out the Trade Value Chart for one player, no matter how badly he wants him.
