Bad news for Mr. Lawrence. That is a very bad team. I really do wonder whether Meyer will make it through the season - this is a guy who quit U of Florida because they went 8-5. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he "gets sick" in December and "has to" step away.
Sucks for Lawrence and the Jags. They did have an undrafted RB who had a decent season, but his name escapes me.
Urban is going to be there for two years max. Maybe less as it could be another Bobby Petrino situation. What a disaster it already is. 25th overall pick on a runningback with a trash roster.
I never understand why GMs believe "hey, this coach took over an extremely successful college team with athletes way superior to their competition, and he still won. Maybe he can take over a sucky NFL team with inferior athletes and help them win!" Weird. I predict two-and-out for Meyer.
James Robinson. Having watched the Jags far too many times in our race to 0-16, he was usually the only competent member of the offense. Etienne is not a huge loss if he repeats the 2020 season.
I bought Madden for the first time in 12 years. first thing I did was start a Franchise and stimulate the first season Cowboys beat the Jaguars in the SB and Urban Meyer was Coach of the Year. LOL Madden
