    This is actually a take.
Jets are soft because they haven’t had an all out brawl.
Man…its easy to get on TV these days.

I like a good training camp brawl. This preceded the Panthers 15-1 SB appearance and Cam Newton's MVP.

But it is by no means a requirement. It can also end up being divisive and isolating if extreme sides are chosen and it doesn't stay on the field.

What in the actual fuck was that?....

That was, arguably, one of the WORST arguments I have ever witnessed on a sports program.

That's like watching the GOP argue why masks are bullshit during a pandemic

the game is changing, there is too much money at stake making it reckless to fight a teammate. plus, we have a history of rogue lb's beating up our qb over pocket change. one punch, two careers ruined. let's try to avoid fights if possible.

How hard can it be to find a subject worth talking about. That was 10 minutes of manufactured idiocy. I know people love bashing the Jets but there is nothing else even remotely worthwhile that they can talk about other than making up a non existent crisis.

I am 1000% serious, this is arguably the worst thing I have ever seen on a sports program.

I would have fired his ass as soon as he walked off set.

If I had to put money on it, I’d bet there’s at least one fight at every camp around the league. Too much heat and testosterone for it not to happen. Shit we fight in here everyday about the team and we’re not physically ramming into each other in 90+ degree heat wearing sometimes 20+ lbs of extra equipment for our livelihoods. It’s just that most fights do not reach news worthy levels. I doubt very much it’s Kumbaya singing every practice.

These guys played the sport at the highest level. They are not pulling this out of their asses. Not to mention that it’s not even an original take. The connotation that training camp fights means a team is “hungry” &/or “has fight” has been around for years. It’s part of the whole tough guy culture of football like playing hurt. When did we become so sensitive as Jets fans?

If it’s so easy, I’d like to see you try.

Until the season starts and they can talk about things that are actually holding a team back instead of these bag of wind hypothetical space-eater TV segments, this stuff is pointless.

Someone should man up and smack Wilson at the start of next practice for the betterment of the team. Why are our players so selfish?

See it would yield multiple benefits. It would definitely start a brawl to satisfy the missing “fight” in the team & do Wilson some good like you said in the process. Where’s IK when you need him to do God’s work?

Dude, not for nothing, but this is complete horseshit. Not your comment, but his comments in the video.

This is absolutely pulling something out of his ass. The idea that your team is not "smart" or not "hungry" because there are not massive fights, is a fuckin joke. It's not about being sensitive, it's just absolutely ridiculous.

I did not play professional sports. Unfortunately injuries held me back; but I did play collegiate sports and the idea that fighting with your teammates proves you are tough and/or hungry is asinine.

Let's call this what it is. It is a pathetic attempt to bash the Jets when they physically have nothing else to work with. Saleh is the most likeable coach we have ever had. The jury is obviously out on if he will be a good coach, but it is impossible for you to find something he has said or done that is wrong or causes controversy. So instead, they are now attacking the fact that he said our guys like each other and are not fighting in camp.

    Stupid

It's about a good a take as Cowherd's "Wilson won't be hungry and motivated because his uncle is rich."

Some people eat this shit up though, as hard to believe as that is.

What are people talking about - Jets being soft - no fights.

Until another team has a backup LB sucker punch their starting QB and break his jaw, they should shut up.

We make other teams look like frigging amateurs.
