If it is true we have traded for Denver's first round pick. Which ever one it is. I would not be shocked if we traded both pics to Houston for their number one. With that number one pick I would think that we would take Leinart. I think he could become the next Manning. And not that shmuck Eli either.

I think if we got a first rounder for Abe and than traded both 1st rounders to move up 3 spots, it would be the dumbest thing we've ever done....and this includes drafting Kyle Brady ahead of Warren Sapp...

It would take more than our two #1 picks to get the first overall pick from Houston. Probably a 2nd and/or 3rd.

    I agree and disagree.

I agree that we would take Leinart if we had the #1 pick...
I disagree that we will package our first rounders and other picks to do so...

This would be a bad move. The Jets have to take care of so many things, so why should they give up two first round picks for one?
And noone knows if Leinart is able to transfer his game to the NFL level.

If we trade our 2 first rounders for the number one overall, it'd be HORRIBLE.

I would prefer keeping our picks, but it would NOT be a horrible thing to do...

I guess it's possible but I can't believe we would draft Leinart if we did. We would have to be super high on the guy to do that and I think they like Cutler a bit more. It seems everyone likes Cutler more. If we traded up it would be for Bush and only Bush, I think.
