Coples had a good rookie year with Rex coaching him before we moved him to linebacker.

As it turns out he is one of the few good players that we have that actually cares, and isn't fucking Bowles behind his back.

Mo is not getting traded. We would eat $15.75 million in cap space if we did trade him. Williams has been one of the bright spots of this dismal season. Sheldon should be shipped and if we are very lucky,we get a third round pick for him. Last season Mo was heavily shopped and best offer was a 3rd round pick. I remember reading post here and other Jet forums saying trade Mo and our second for the first pick and multiple other high pics. Some people have no grasp of a players worth

Fuck this game? Ha, more like go fuck yourself and good luck finding work loser. Can't wait to see Richardson off this team. What a piece of work. Nothing pisses me off more than people with poor character.

I honestly would trade them for a Wacky Wall Walker and a half bottle of Summer''s Eve Herbal Douche right now. But we aren't gunna get enough back for it to be worse it. Sheldon''s a head case and Mo has performed too poorly. Best to hope that a new coaching staff can raise their value. Trades in the NFL are seldom so you have to make them worth it.

I don't remember seeing any sort of trade offer ever being on the table. The only thing I remember was a first round pick needing to be apart of the package for Maccagnan to pull the trigger. Where did you see a third round pick being offered?

    https://www.google.com/amp/syndicat...news-speculation-surrounding-jets-de.amp.html

    http://nypost.com/2016/03/30/jets-have-month-to-fix-mo-wilkerson-dilemma-they-created/

    https://www.google.com/amp/nypost.c...-out-of-time-to-trade-muhammad-wilkerson/amp/

I think our front office is the ones that have a terrible gauge on a players value. Maccagnan overvalued both Wilkerson and Richardson. We're going to end up with at best a fourth round pick for Richardson, while being stuck with an $18 million cap hit for Wilkerson's whopping 2.5 sacks this year.

Another situation of the Jets drastically mishandling high profiled players.

The rest of the NFL takes notice of this and so do the players. We caved for Revis twice, we caved for Wilkerson, we caved for Fitz.

If I'm Leonard Williams, Pryor (although he's sucked), Enunwa, even Brian Winters this offseason I'm kicking and screaming until they give me exactly what I want in terms of a contract extension.

Well we could still trade Leo. And team him up with Mo for a few more years. I heard this dude is really good. He talks like he's good too.

Maybe include McClendon in a package deal. McClendon is another guy that did his job, and did it well. And wasn't caught up in a bunch bs social causes, any other teammates business matters, and didn't worry about dem ho's before the game, when his Coach and teammates would be counting on him, like a good hypocrite.

Hopefully Bowles is negotiating with this assclown today and Sheldon is making him all kinds promises to act fuckin normal for his team.

Richardson and Wilkerson are probably not worth much now. If we're being honest, Macc should have traded Richardson at the deadline and instead he held on to him thinking he would help his value... it turns out Richardson has done the opposite and we would be lucky to get a late round pick at this point. Wilkerson is untradeable...Have to let him stay on the roster for at least 1 season and then reassess next offseason.

    Wilkerson has HOF talent.

Richardson is a overrated JAG with off the field problems.

Get rid of Richardson get whatever ya can. Get a coach in here who can give Wilkerson a kick in the ass.

Given Richardson's plummeting value and our draft history I wouldn't mind seeing them ship Wilkerson for a corner or an O-linemen from a team that has too many of either.

Sorry, just saw this. I remember it being discussed on the NFL Network just prior to the draft.
I agree we caved for Revis and Fitz. I think Woody wanted them at any cost. We also caved for Wilkerson but we're cap starved and couldn't franchise him so pretty much had to pay or let him go. The entire franchise needs a culture change. Over paying for under performing vets is sadly our trademark.

Wilkerson isn't going anywhere unless he shows he can't get it done next year. Richardson NEEDS to go. He has to have one of the lowest football IQs I've ever seen. If they can get a 2nd for him, that's fine. If he walks we get a 3rd, so either way we'll get something eventually. It's just a shame because prior to his racing incident the Jets could have easily gotten a first and more for him.

In a couple years we will either have to give Leonard Williams a huge contract, trade him, or let him walk.

With that being said, we should not let Sheldon Richardson walk or settle for as little as a measly third round pick if we can expect to sign him to a reasonable contract. On the surface it seems that it will take a huge amount of money to keep Richardson and nothing he has said would reign in those expectations. However, please tell me what team out there (besides us) is going to give this guy a huge guaranteed contract without any provisions based upon his behavior.

If we cut enough overpaid jerks like Fitzpatrick and Revis it is not out of the question to keep all three of our young, talented DEs.
