I don't know much about Mosely, but if he can play in a 3-4, I'd take those picks. Moving down 13 spots in the first round isn't all that bad when you add the two second rounders on. Where exactly in Minn is this coming from? Paper? Radio? I don't see this trade happening though. Seems too large to actually happen.
Jump on that in a NY minute...Aquire as many picks as possible...The only guy to trade up for his Leinart.
I don't believe any draft trade rumor in the middle of March. Why would Minny want to move up now when they have no idea who will be available at 4. Anyway I think we're more likely to move up for Leinart than down..
oh, remember, the jets HAVE the V's 7th rounder THIS YEAR as a result of the s.cowart trade. THIS 7th round pick is LOWER in the round than OUR 7th rounder. so, we'll STILL HAVE AT LEAST ONE 7th rounder ( the V's 7th rounder ) plus ANY COMP. PICKS IN THE 7th round that the NFL might give us. just an fyi. :beer:

I thought Mosley would have went higher in the draft last year than the 6th round, even was hoping the Jets would grab him before they decided on Pouha. I didn't see him play at all last year, so am not sure how he did. Not a bad deal value wise, but I still would like one of the franchise QBs....
ok, apparently the jets want to see what is goin' to happen with " the john abraham " situation BEFORE they make their FINAL decision re the V's offer. i guess we'll see. kelly ~ ~ ~
I watched Moseley for a few years here at Mizzou...he was a steal in the 6th round. He's a hole-plugger and would make a good 3-4 NT. I'd strongly consider this deal if actually offered.

This makes sense...if they can't get extra picks from Abe they will do it via trade down... Who do we target at 17 though? Chad Greenway?
I think the vikings have the 48th and 51st picks, theyd probably need to throw in an extra pick, maybe a 2nd or 3rd next year or something to even it out a little more. Usually teams trading up give up more than the value chart says they should because there is a premium on the upper echelon players.
