    hey guys,
a buddy of mine just e-mailed me & said the word in minn. is that the vikings are tryin' to " move-up " in THIS year's draft.
    anyway, they're sayin' the V's have made the following offer to the JETS ;

    the DEAL :

    JETS get :
    - the V's 1st rounder THIS year ( #17 overall ).
    - the V's TWO 2nd rounders THIS year ( # 47 & #49 overall ).

    VIKINGS get :
    - the JETS' 1st rounder THIS year ( #4 overall ).

I like the idea of getting Leinart or Ferguson near the top of the draft, but with the depth of offensive lineman this year, that could be a great trade.

Ouch- just a little too far for my taste, I too would like to stay in the top 15-but then again, a #17 v #15 isn't really too far off.

Just keep in mind, that when you go that far into the round, all of our potential qbs, coupled with guys like Ngata, Brick, Hawk, Williams, the 2 running backs, even Vernon Davis, are ALL off the board.

I dont think that is enough Kelly~~~~~

When the Ravens traded up to get Boller they gave the Pats their second round pick in the draft and next years first~~~~~~~

Remember when we traded up to the fourth spot and it costs us two first rounders plus a additional pick~~~~~ I think the Vikings would have to hook us up with more~~~~~~~

Yeah i'd do that deal too.You could add up to 4 good young players with that move and thats with the Abraham deal still to do.This move would really help the rebuilding process.

Based on the PVC that deal is pretty much a wash. I'm not sure how much I love going down quite that far, but this is a deep draft and having 5 picks in the top 50 (counting an Abraham trade) would be very good to have.

With Arizona getting Edge, the RBs could fall to our spot, I would do this deal, along with getting 2 second rounders, we could even trade back up to the back of the first round if we wanted to, or take BPA at those spots, it would give us a lot of versatility in this draft

Off topic, I realize, but jesus, Kelly is the weirdest poster on this site. In fact, he/she might be the weirdest poster I've ever seen on any message board. I can't even read what he/she says most of the time because I'm so distracted by the avatar, or the vanilla ninja links or whatever. Sheesh.

    I like it!

If we can get Atlanta's 15th we'd be in good shape.

Hmm, I dunno. It'll a tough pill to swallow dropping down that far. Besides, those aren't really high second rounders, either. I'd prefer their #1 this year, their #1 next year, and a 3rd rounder this year. But whatever. Neither option seem to have much chance to happen.
