Anybody here into war strategy game like this?

True, this game is highly taxing on your machine - I'd recommend i5 system with GeForce GT or better.

Other than that... this game is truly a gem. You get to control up to a few thousand men on the battlefield and you don't watch the meaningless blob with number decreasing; you see actual pikemen running for their lives and horsemen chasing their target relentlessly.

The AI isn't too shabby, and it will be very fun to play.

    I would highly recommend this.

Yeah, I love the strategy games. Rome: Total War is probably one of my favorite games of all time. The problem is that my machine is way too outdated to play this. Sucks.

This is my machine - yeah, I haven't upgraded my rig for years, but it works just fine:

    CPU: E6600 (Dual Core)
    Ram: 6G (Corsair)
    VGA: GeForce 8800GT
    Power: OCZ 700W

everything else is standard issue pretty much (Sound Blaster, Western Digital HDD etc etc). See if this helps.

Mine is way more outdated. I was able to run Medieval 2, but it was a bit clunky. I love the series and I'm almost tempted to buy a new computer just to play this.
