Yeah... this has been done many times. Not bashing the OP, but this thread will boil down to the consensus top ten and end up with movies like Citizen Kane, the Godfather, Casablanca and 2001 with people arguing the same arguments about outliers. No offense, but you should do something more original. I'm not saying do a tournament of movies, but something that really gets people talking about how they are made, what people are cast, things like that. That would be cool.
The Godfather /saga Its a mad mad mad mad world Slapshot Jaws Angels with dirty faces Casablanca The Exorcist Mr Roberts Dead Poets Society Its a wonderful life This was just off the top of e head real quick I'm sure I left many out or might readjust it and I also I left the comas out for you Vilma !
I need some clarification on parameters, can I include Korean or international movies? Or strictly American made movies? Because there are some international movies that simply blow away a lot of the movies made in America.
The goonies Battleship Varsity Blues Goodfellas True Romance Amadeus Band of brothers The big lebowski Predator 2 Aliens Halloween
Animal House Anything with Al Pacino (Dog Day Afternoon, Scent of a Woman, Carlito's Way, Scarface, Heat, Serpico, Godfather Trilogy, etc.etc).
It's cool, I thought about starting my own threads about the subject but realized it would be a douchey thing to do, much like all of the posting the liberals do on this board. This thread is alright though, it's going different than top 10 movie threads of years past.
I almost posted that image hours ago. Looks like a shit movie on the surface but is surprisingly good. Even though Katie Holmes doesn't show her perfect tits.
