Its a week 2 game, take a seat. People are always going to remember the flops you've had during your career Romo. Gutsy yes but if this gets worst, its stupid.

True, but it may have been the type of thing the cowboys needed. They have had plenty of talent lately but went nowhere with it. A guy doing something like that could get the whole team going in the right direction. It could also mean nothing in 2 months. We will see.

So Romo has a broken rib and punctured lung, Felix Jones has a separated shoulder, and Miles Austin has a pulled hamstring. That's on top of Dez Bryant already not playing because of his quad. Talk about a bad week. It's like they put the entire Cowboys offense on the cover of Madden.
Just heard on the news they are advertising it as a collapsed lung... is that the same thing as "punctured", or are they ratcheting up this story and his injuries to epic proportion? lol Next thing I'm going to hear is he will need to wear an iron lung... I guess even choke-artists can be tough SoB's, and Romo is clearly the toughest SoB I've ever known.
I'm fairly sure that Jerry Jones can work something out with Rick Perry where they can rip a lung out of whoever they choose and have it sewn into Romo.
the few "but" assholes in this thread really piss me off. seriously, fuck you guys. give the dude some credit without reaching to find negatives that aren't there. regardless of what you think of the guy, he came in there and led his team back with a serious injury. if they go 0-2, their season is likely over. he helped them win the game and keep their playoff hopes alive. it also helps that the only team that is 2-0 in the division is the redskins after this week. this was not a diva who was a 1st round pick. this was an undrafted free agent who came out of nowhere to be one of the better QBs in the league(in the regular season).i don't get the hate
Wow.. I didn't realize the playoffs were on the line in the 2nd game of the season. Thank God we won.. whew... could have all been over there for us as well. :drunk:
the stats show an amazingly low percent of teams that go 0-2 ever make the playoffs. i was suprised myself at the stat. wish i could remember but its basically a death warrant for a playoff season. plus their division is far more competitive than most in the whole league. they needed that game bad no matter how you slice it.
