So what is his buyout when Leach gets his job back through the courts? Actually, that won't happen and Leach won't care..it's the 50 million he wants and there may not be a Texas Tech anymore.

Leach doesn't want his Texas Tech job back. They'll settle so Leach can get a paycheck from TT for sitting on his ass/coaching another team.

It was garbage when Tuberville got fired last time, this is a brilliant move for Texas Tech.

Good move for Tech, Tubbs got screwed at Auburn and they'll feel the effect in a few years. I'd have to think this will make Tech a major player in the Big 12 assuming Tubbs can convince the SEC kids to go to West Texas.

Great coach, bad hire. Tuberville's always installed smashmouth running games with great success, but he's taking over a team with only spread offense personnel. Either he's gonna have to pull a reverse Rich Rodriguez, or he's gonna have to coach against his strengths.

In any case it's good to see him get another job, because he got absolutely screwed at Auburn. Tuberville is one of the better coaches in the country.
