LT is going to help Sanchez out so much, 3rd down back that can protect for Sanchez in the backfield, a legitimate option, and I think with this offensive line, LT is going to have some big games for us, i'm going to be excited to see the return of the screen game after abandoning it when Washington went down, I think he's going to give us some big plays for us this year.
The great thing is that we don't even really need him to run. He can still catch anything thrown to him, so I'm pretty damn confident Sanchez will shine with him in the backfield.
For all the articles proposing gloom and doom because of the recent questionable additions to the team, it's refreshing to see an article about one of the good guys. Tomlinson is a bit selfish but it's directed at being the best he can be. I believe he will be a welcome addition to the team.
Call me crazy but I'm not as excited as others seem to be about LT. I know he'll be behind our line, but as we've seen even in the games against the Jets in recent years he just doesn't seem to run with authority like he used to. I'm hoping the urge to win the SB before he's gone and the new home will be enough to get that spark back.
Great read on LT, but what also jumps out is the maturity of Sanchez. Everything I read about him adds to my conviction that the Jets have found a genuine franchise player. He just gets it.
I like LT always have and this article just re-enforces that, and its nice to hear he's doing different things in the gym and working on different tactics on the field to accomidate the things he does well and not rely on "speed" so much as he mentions and I cant lie I was very upset to see Thomas Jones go (and even more so with Leon) but I think all in all they would have about the same effect yards wise on the field LT will just pick alot more up of the pass/screen where Jones has a more dirrect approach, but with the compliment of Greene's down hill style and LT's shake & bake and not knowing if he'll be receiving will really keep defences on edge I approve this article
yup. Impressing L.T. like that probably isn't the easiest thing in the world. He definitely "gets it".
