Consultants that are actively involved never bode well for a coordinator.

Maybe he will bring Manning with him.

And maybe he could also bring Revis's mojo back.

Moore has to have his salary doubled. Schotty meet your new babysitter.

Hmmm I figured something was up.. I was complimenting the play-calling and design of the plays today.. which is unusual for a Shittenheimer coached offense. Just so happens that Tom Moore was with the team this week.. interesting, huh?

But it does bode well for Jets fans.

Exactly. I was sitting here watching the game and discovered that halfway through. Was really wondering why the offence looked so balanced and actually attempted down field passes.

Didn't know about this. It was a different Jets offense today. The proof is in the pudding.

    The offense looked great.

Only 2 things annoyed me....running it up the middle at the goal line (that was a waste of a down IMO...SD was ready for it everytime), and Sanchez's accuracy (he's still overthrowing his targets).

Did Moore have a hand in the improved D too. I liked the entire package today. We rollin' now.

Not a coincidence at all. The play-calling was in stark contrast to everything we've seen over the past half-decade. It was undoubtedly the work of Moore rather than Schottenheimer.

    I don't know.

When plays are working the play caller looks like a genius. I know Moore wasn't calling the plays on the field.

How much input he had from upstairs none of us know.

But the gameplan wasn't like anything Schottenheimer has pulled together in his tenure with the Jets. Am I supposed to believe that suddenly, he decided to open up the downfield passing game, abandon the screen game, and go to a man, rather than zone, run blocking scheme? Or should I believe that those were instituted by a man who made them his hallmarks when he was with Indianapolis?

Was Moore with the team all week or did he fly in for the game today?

If he wasn't with the team all week he sure put the gamelan in quickly.

I don't care who was responsible in the end. It worked and it was fun to watch.
