I'm happy for him. I hope he wins and I hope he becomes a successful head coach one day.

He’s got nothing to prove. He’s a good coordinator and not a good head coach. The Peter Principle applies to us all.

he was always a good coordinator. It showed with the Jets as well when he took on that roll at times.

Some coordinators aren't cut out to be HC's. Whether or not Bowles gets another HC job, he's taking the right path in getting one.

If Jets owed him some money from coaching days, Cimini would headline as "Todd Bowles is going to SB on Jets dime".

Amazing to think of how exuberant we would have been if, exactly 5 years ago on 2/2/2016 a time traveler arrived and said, "five years from today Todd Bowles will be deep in preparations for his first Super Bowl as a coach.

The Jets had finished 10-6, just missing the playoffs, and Bowles looked like a coach that could drive performance.

Bowles was definitely not the Head Coach we hoped for, but the guy was always a class act.
You cannot say that for the last douchebag we had as a head coach.

Good for Bowles if he didn’t have Tommy Boy on his team, I would be rooting for him.

Some coordinators are not built for head coaching. Bowles lost the room

It's tough because I would rather McLendon get a ring than Bell get a ring, but no way I can cheer for Brady. Go Chiefs!

Happy for Bowles that his defense has played well though. Arians is a great friend to have too.

I don't see how this is redeeming at all though. He was a good coordinator for the Cardinals too. Then a terrible Head Coach for the Jets. Now a good coordinator for the Bucs. It's not the same thing.

A historic occasion. For the first time in the history of the NFL a celebrated coordinator that was fired as a head coach returns to a coordinator role and makes it to the Super Bowl.

this has to rank amongst a perfect 19-0 season or a team winning three straight Super Bowl’s as things most people never expected to occur.

If Brady beats Mahomes, Brady will have 7 to Mahomes 1. That makes it almost impossible for Mahomes to top Brady in SB wins and be declared the GOAT. Just tying Brady a 7 won't do it, since Brady beat him head to head. Mahomes will have to get to 8 rings.

Top players can miss while average players make plays.
