Some GMs aren't following 2 rules. When you make your selection, you are supposed to PM the GM and use this format: The Patriots(WW85) is OTC and PM sent. NOT: I will PM the next GM. This doesn't give us the info you PMed the correct GM. Also, A GM was on-line and ignored his pick and is keeping us waiting....unacceptable. Another rule broken. If you want to continue to participate follow the rules. I put a lot work into this mock, if you aren't committed...get out.
I actually just got through making a personal list of teams and GMs after I pick, it will help me out a lot with this. I got kinda lazy going back through 2 threads looking for who and what team was OTC, so I picked up the habit...
Not sure if it was me who was on-line and ignored the pick, but I left my home laptop on TGG so it might've showed I was on-line during the time I left work and got home. No excuses though, and I was a culprit with the "will PM next GM".
Did the same thing every pick or two saying "Will PM next GM" , I apologize about that guys and will fix it.
Don't worry, I have done the same thing. My apologies too. Will try and fix it. Will say it originally but then edit it after I send the PM. I focus upon getting my pick in ASAP and then quickly PMing who's next to keep the pace going.
You should throw a post of the GMs and teams in the picks by round thread just so it's a one stop shop to see who's up next. It can be a pain navigating it all and sending a PM from a phone/Ipod.
I'm also at fault for the PM message problem, sorry about that! Being a first timer I should have been going strictly by the book, that's my mistake.
Why don't I make everyone's pick??? It's an idea, I will consider it next time. I think each GM can check the GM assignment thread before making their pick, that's what I do.
