http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/football/nfl/02/28/bc.fbn.titans.hopkins.ap/index.html Acording to SI.com the Titans might part ways with the left tackle Brad Hopkins. This is interesting because it might open the door for them with D-Brick. And a qb either Young or Cutler could be on the board when we pick. I know the drafted Roos last year but I don't know if they are going to move him over to LT it will be interesting.
what? wait... thats another solid OT in FA? i coulda swore if we didnt draft D Brick we would never be able to build our oline
He's old anyway. We should have taken Michael Roos, Hopkins replacement in the draft a couple years ago. He's proven to be very capable at both right and left tackle.
Hopefully this is because they want D-Brick, with Roos at RT. And Cutler or Young will be there when we pick anyway, at least one of them, unless for some reason Reggie Bush gets polio. And if Leinart was there (which he won't be) he'd settle the QB need anyway.
I think the Titans pick D.Brick before this is even made public. My reasons: They don't really need a QB because they already have two who can start. Also the CS seems brutally loyal to McNair to a fault even. If he ever goes down you have to know Volek will have no problem stepping in. They also don't need a DE because they took like 3 in the first 3 rounds a year or two ago and they got Vanden Bosch who performed quite well for them. They don't need a NT because they have invested high picks in two in Starks and Haynesworth and although they aren't "studs" yet, I'm sure it would produce the same type of uproar if we drafted a DT. There are no real RBs, CBs, or WRs available. At their slot, the best available player is Ferguson because they don't have to overvalue the QB position due to their formidable depth.
