Guy is a monster and UM is notorious for putting out amazing talent. Thoughts on taking him to pair with Ivory? Question is, how high do you think we would need to go to get him?
I want him to be a Jet badly actually. Some will say RB isn't a need but I disagree. Johnson is a shell and Ivory's last year on his contract is 2015 I believe. Duke and Abdullah are my favorite RBs in the class. I would say maybe early third he could still be there, pending his showing at the combine. I would even take him in the second, this is the year to take a RB.
Absolutely would like to cut CJ and get a young RB in this class and Duke Johnson would be an ideal fit. Seems like he'd have to be taken in the 2nd at this point, but maybe he'll run an underwhelming 40 and fall a bit. But even if not him, there's some great talent that can probably be had in the 3rd to 5th.
Just mentioned him today in the main forum as a guy I would love to take a shot on if we can address OL, CB and LB in free agency and the first two rounds of the draft. Will he be there in the third is the question.
