Has he lived up to all the expectations and hype he received early on? Hes obviously a great talent, has won many games, has made some very memorable plays etc.......but there is just something missing. Peyton Mannings entire career was always about his failures in the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers has been worse, however unlike Peyton Manning, he doesnt get the same criticism that Peyton Manning received. Perhaps because people dont think Aaron Rodgers is on the same level as Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. Mahomes is about become what everyone thought Aaron Rodgers would have become. Mahomes is also already having a bigger impact on the league than Rodgers ever has had.

What do you all think? has Aaron Rodgers lived up to expectations for you? Or has he fallen short? Its confusing because its not entirely his fault but at some point he needs to just carry his team again in the playoffs, but for some reason, he just cant do it again. He still has a great opportunity in the future to do it, but the window is beginning to shut on him very soon.

That team has not had a consistent defense since he's been there, thats the real issue. If he had the defensive talent of those Patriot teams, wed not be having this conversation

Talent wise, he's one of the best qbs to ever play the game. But the talent around him defensively just hasnt been there.

Rodgers career is what you would expect out of a great QB who demanded to be paid like a great QB.

As to the living up to expectations part: did Dan Marino and Matt Ryan live up to expectations?

He had to replace a legend in Favre - He did to the point that many Packer fans would go for peak Rodgers over peak Favre.

winning the SB is not a solo effort. Marino was great. Rodgers is great.
Would ANYONE EVER SAY that Bob Griese is better than Rodgers and Marino?
