Exactly. He was solid/above average when the Bears had him because they had an O-line. Now we've got one for him to run behind.
He looks the same to me but he's definately playing great and with Faneca leading the way i knew Jones would have a good year and he is.
He just looks to have a bit more of a spring in his step... Finishing his runs much better this year as well.
Last year there were no holes to run through. There was the Eagles game for a few drives but that was about it. He's got the blocking this year and he's doing a great job of rounding out the offense.
Lets not get carried away...it was the Rams remember. If he runs well against NE and Tennessee then it will be time to get excited.
I don't think there are a whole lot of Thomas Jones 'haters'.. just those who recognize he's still a middle-of-the-pack RB.
