Thomas Jones Interview on Sirius ... adam shein tried to rile him up saying how p*$$ed adam is at the jets for letting him go ... a couple times tried to get thomas to say something negative ... - thomas discussed he is not bitter at being let go ... understood it's the business side of the NFL ... can't look at the league as playing for love, wearing your varsity letterman jacket, etc. ... ... he's happy and lucky for his time with the bears ... with the jets ... and now with the chiefs ... had good things to say about mangini and mikey t. for bringing him in ... ... gave all he had to the team ... tried to handle himself as a leader and professional 100% of the time ... Adam Schein is a toolbag and quite annoying to listen to with his slow-talking, exaggerated wording. I'm sure it took him 10 minutes introduce Thomas Jones.
Yeah. I'm not saying ANY show on Sirius NFL Radio is bad, because they're all good, but he bugs sometimes. Moving the Chains is absolutely the best show on the air, though.
Schein is a ball licking douchebag. i bet on jets post game he's probably like "thomas who?" . of course when eh's doing the interview it's the exact opposite. I hate adam Schein. Ray lucas awesomeness fortunately cancels out Shein's stupidity. i miss jets postgame (most of last year and the couple of years before that, i had a crazy error in my favor from dish network. my billing addy was in new jersey, but my actual satellite was in miami. So for some reason i got all the local NY stations and got to watch all the games without blackouts. Didnt have to get NFL network, NBA league pass or MLB pass..including SNY and what not. unfortunately i moved to gainesville for school and got cable when i moved here)
i live on the west coast and have direcTV so i get jets post game live. I watch it for teh players and coaches but i gotta disagree with you. i think both schien and lucas are horrible. I hate how lucas talks shit about other QBs when he was a bum and has the nerve to say i knew how to do this. Lucas should never have played a down in the NFL and if it wasn't for our shitty QB situation (vinny went down and the other options were rick mirer and punter tom tupa, and FYI Tupa was better then lucas lol)
i agree ray lucas sucked as a QB, but you gotta love his passion and the fact he doesn't hold back. yes he can be a bit of a homer sometimes, but he reminds me of me if i were on TV with no filter.
I just hate Schein's voice. Say what you want about the guy other than that, but he's usually pretty on the money football wise. He knew the Favre experiment would backfire towards the end of the season, and even predicted that the Jets defense would be the best in the league at the start of the 2009 season. He also predicted that Jason Taylor was going to be huge for us.
If Lucas had started as soon as Vinny went down we would have made the playoffs in 1999. Mirer was f'ing horrible.
I hate him on SNY, I can't concentrate on what he's saying because his voice bothers me that much. I cringe...
