Very nice pickup RT. On the achilles, it can sometimes be an ongoing injury that can take months to heal. Not something that would keep him out of the games, but a strained achilles can often take ages, and could be a niggling injury for a while.
If it really isn't that bad then he just needs to stay off it and treat it accordingly. The offseason was plenty of time to rest a strained tendon so I don't think it was lingering. So the rest is actually therapy. Plenty of time before NE. But if it was a slight te_r (no jinx) that would be different. Because from what I read that could cause a calf strain as well. Hope thats not the case. Some info on Achilles strains; Healing times are usually 2 to 10 days for a mild strain, 10 days to 6 weeks for a moderate strain, or 6 to 10 weeks for a severe strain.
