Gore does have injury issues. If you need depth, it's not that bad a trade. But I'm not very high on Peterson. You could probably get two better RBs for Gore than what you'd get in that trade.
No for two reasons: (1) Jones is a feature back and should get at least 1100 yds, (2) (and more importantly) Peterson plays on a team with a very good defense and a suspect passing game, meaning the Vikes will look to play ball control this season. That means AP will get carries, plus he looks pretty freakin' good. I like Gore but for those two I don't think it would benefit your team.
If you're in a keeper league, you want Jones/Peterson. If you need a one year adrenaline boost, go with Gore.
