Friend is asking me about a trade and I want to give your advice instead of mine...he will be trading Brady/Roydell Williams/Chester Taylor for Hasselback/TJ Hous/Kenny Watson.. good trade?
first of all, I hate Brady with every fibre of my being.....so this opinion is based solely on Brady's fantasy value. Whoever is trading Brady should have their head checked...the guy threw 50TD's last season... Hasselback doesn't even have a #1 Wideout to throw to.
The side with Brady is stronger. Housh is great but Kenny Watson is going to be borderline worthless in a Rudi/Watson/Perry tandem.
Keep Brady and Co. !! Kenny Watson will be the #3 RB on the Bungles, Chester Taylor at least may get some TDs, and will be good tradebait for whomever has AD

Got a couple of trade offers of my own and could use some opinions as well. Being offered Stallworth and B. Jacobs for B. Marshall and W. Parker. Also being offered Jacobs and Desean Jackson for Crayton and Parker. I'm not totally sold on Jacobs... not to say that I have a ton of faith in Parker either, so help me out.
I personally don't like trading until I atleast see a couple of weeks play. Can't trade Brady, doesn't matter who's on the block.
i would definetly not do this trade , and this puts my hate for brady aside. don't go for the trade because brady will get more points than hasselbeck. hasselbeck continues to be one of the most underrated fantasy Qb's i've recently seen... and houz will kill roydell in fantasy points, this goes without saying. minny will run the RB tandem again and watson and chester will probably have about the same amout of points. plus im not convinced that AP will stay healthy for this season (something just irks me) and chester will end up being the number 1 there possibly... DON'T TRADE THAT.

That looks like someone trying to upgrade at every position in the trade to me. No way. Parker > Jacobs (even with Mendenhall in the fold). Marshall >>>>>> Stallworth. Stay way away from that one. Same idea behind the Crayton one.
No way, even if he hates Brady. Brady's the #1 QB (at worst he'll be the #4 this year, AT WORST). Hasselbeck has Burleson and Carlson as his best WR options right now (I love both, but not compared to Moss and Welker). Plus, Hasselbeck isn't even close to Brady. Roydell Williams shouldn't even be owned unless it's a deep 14 team league, and Housh is an obvious upgrade, but not worth the downgrade from Brady to Hasselbeck. Chester Taylor and Kenny Watson are more or less offsets, so who cares about them. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
Guy giving up Brady gives up 1 startable QB and gets 1 startable QB in return plus a WR1 plus basically an even swap at RB. Is TJ Houshmandezuh worth the gap between Brady and Hasselbeck? I say - hell yes. He was a top 6 fantasy WR last year.
Jacobs and Parker are basically equal in my mind, although I'd rather have Parker by a nose. Stallworth and DeSean Jackson are not even draftable, in my opinion while Brandon Marshall is money and Crayton is a decent plug-in. Therefore, I wouldn't do either trade.
