Yea I know this is redundant, but, the defense especially, it is exactly the same every week. The players? Yea they're young, especially the secondary. I bet Mike Tomlin would have them playing respectable ball, regardless how young. Maybe the DC should go up to the box and call a game. He clearly has no clue on the field. They absolutely go against EVERY thing they are trying to do defensively, EVERY week. This is where my personal feelings about the HC get skewed. Yes, he should be calling and running it with the DC, because Jeff has no business doing it. Worst I've ever seen...Jet fan since 73. THE mistakes, lost players, bad tackling, missed tackles, NEVER set the edge, explosive plays, poor coverage, poor play calling, zero adjustments. So, just what is there to do to show ANY improvement whatsoever in remaining 4 games? Do we have to cut EVERYONE at seasons end? Very....wary of defensive decisions moving forward. That front 4 is DEFINITELY better than that. This is so atrocious.
I sat there yesterday actually watching that sewage wondering if they were trying to lose on purpose. No professional team could be that pathetic. Dropped passes, zero offense, zero defense. The only bright spot was the friggin kicker. This is what we've been reduced to. Happiness over a kicker. Unreal. Oh yes I forgot, Coach Shalala told us we have never been through this before and to be patient as it will turn around. SMH.
Its hard to fathom they are that bad..its coaching, because guys aren't doing their job properly, clueless.
If we saw "improvement" followed by three weeks of "bleh" but after the bleh, some more improvement, we'd be OK with the process. Even I'M looking forward to the next draft and I'm usually one of those cranky old guys getting pissed off about draft status being talked about during a current season. I'm asking Santa for "No more Jets injuries and also no more Jets games this year"
