    And Joe Douglas is the architect of the whole thing. Woody should give Joe a raise and an extension right now. I don't necessarily believe in Saleh, but I know the players do and I think that's important. He's doesn't have any problems motivating the players...

    Let them. I couldn't care less. Some people would rather cling to being right than actually root for the team.

    Are you wrong about what? Certain people not thinking this is the best Jets roster?

    No you’re not wrong. I’m sure there are some that believe that. That doesn’t make you any less of a gnat trying to pick fights within minutes of every thread opening though.

    Walt Michales team was just as good if not better, IMHO. This team hasn't accomplished anything to date so until they do.... then its a moot point.

    I would argue the 1985 and 1986 rosters might be better overall. This group has the potential to change that.
    Outside of QB this team might be weaker in almost every other position group
    Offensive Line is not even close.
    WR - Walker, Toon combIned is probably better than Garret and whoever at this point, I think Wilson’s upside is better than those 2 but no other WR on our team is up to those 2 outside of over the hill Cobb.
    TE - Mickey Schuler
    RB- Freeman and Hector close depends upon how healthy Breece and Cooke end up being.

    DL - we may be deeper this year but compared to Klecko, Lyons and Gastineau
    LB - might be weakest group but Lance Mehl is one of the most underrated Jets and Clifton was pretty good.
    DB Sauce is better by far than any DBs on those teams but Safety is a huge ? Right now.

    1968, 1982 and 1998 all have legitimate arguments.

    I would say this team is definitely top 5, probably top 3 and win the superbowl
    And you prove to be #1.

    that team was awesome.

    Rodgers is the wild card here, if he plays like vintage Rodgers this team will be amazing. In general I agree with everything you say here though

    Lacked the QB IMO--Todd vs Rodgers;

    RB Breece and Cook vs Gaines and Kevin Long;

    Not ready to say Garrett is better than Wesley Walker yet--

    OL and DL no question Michaels team and Sack Exchange

    DB is this teams forte

    It's not a slam dunk to say today's team this is the best squad ever as implied by OP
