This is it people. We need to win the next 2 games or else its over. Belicheck, Billick, Kendall and all the other peripheral off season type chatter is nothing but garbage. Its not off season people. Nine months of waiting for football and it could all be over Sunday. 0-3 and we are done. Focus on the game and stop being like the baseball media with this off field stuff. We will have 11 months to talk about that crap if we lose Sunday. We need to beat the sh*t out of the Fish and then go up to Buff and get one. I am not ready to pack it in. I am ready for a "W".:finssuck:
Where are your balls?? Over just like that...dude seriously just stop being a jets fan if your ready to throw in the towel after 2 games...hell stop being a sports fan. I hear the ballet has some openings...
There is certainly reason to be concerned, but no reason to throw in the towel. The next 4 games will show us what we are made of. Any worse then coming out of the first 6 games than 3-3 will be pathetic. There is still time to get the ship right, but time is running out.
Saying that Jets need to be 2-2 after four games might be a bit extreme, but saying that they need to be 3-3 after six games probably isn't. It's a short season, folks. Say the Jets are 2-4 after six games - they would need to go at least 9-1 to have even the slightest shot at the division (actually, that probably wouldn't even be enough), and probably 8-2 to have a reasonable shot at the wild card. A team that can't win 3 of 4 from a set of teams that are collectively 0-8 right now is pretty unlikely to be able to turn it around that sharply.
I'm not as panicked as some posters. But if we lose to Miami -- I think I just may barf on my own ass. That's not easy. Neither is losing to Miami.
How bad would it be if we let Ted Ginn beat us? We already gave up one long TD on special teams, if he gets one I'll really puke.

One of the great winning streaks the Jets have ever put together. The literally had to. There backs were against the wall and they came threw for half the season.
The division? Are you serious? We are not even in the same league with NE. They outclassed us in every aspect of the game. If I didn't hate Boston fans so much I would switch and root for them. They have heart and skill. They know how to win. The Jets are afraid of success. The ironic part of their success is we helped them by knocking out Drew Bledsoe, thus providing Brady with his opportunity. Just think, if it weren't for that hit, Brady might be stacking boxes in Shoprite
I've wondered about how fate played such a huge part in giving Brady a platform to become what he has. It really is a scenario that Belichicken had to have made a pact with the devil. Seriously, if Disney made a movie about Brady's career, NOBODY would believe that it could happen. Forget even that the guy was drafted where he was, but he didn't even start in college! From there he goes on to become, in my opinion, the best QB of his generation. I base that on what he's had to work with compared to Manning. And of all things, the Devil made sure we were the ones to start the whole mess. Cruel. Cruel. Cruel...
well I just picked him up in one of fanatsy teams because the commish made some stupid point system and I`m gonna need some of those stupid points. Actually I couldn`t give a rats ass what Ginn does to be honest. I`d much rather have the Jets win the game. Maybe I can have the best of both worlds?
they have the answers to the tests before they take them. Thats why they have the skill. Cheating takes no heart.
At this point I personally don't want us to just back in to the playoffs like we are so fond of doing. I mean 9-7 or 10-6 and a wild card is ultimately better than 8-8 and no playoffs, but I really want to feel like we have what it takes to go the distance.
I said if we go 0-3 any chance of a wild card is over, not 0-2 ass wipe. I have been a season tic holder for 28 years you zit face kid. If you think playing for .500 is exciting enjoy. THIS IS IT
Hell we could go 0-5 and i still wouldnt throw in the towel, as although remote, there is a possibility we go 11-0 and make the wild card with a a 11-5record. It would be worrying if we went 0-3 but come on lets be positive. There is so much negativity with Jets fans.
Since we will finish the season 11-5, we can lose 3 more without worry. 0-5 to 11-5 is childs play. Infact, if we do go 0-5 and get our "loses" out of the way early, I will fly to the Belagio and take advantage of the 200-1 odds.
