I always love it when one of my favorite teams goes through a head coaching search. Unfortunately, as a Jets, Mets, and Rangers fan, I can't recall the last time they hired someone that ended up being good; nonetheless, it's an exciting time and here's hoping the Jets change my bad fortune and give me a head coach of one of those teams that I actually like! If I don't like him and he wins, that's okay too, but more likely than not, if he's successful, I'll like him. That's not always the case, though. (Herm, Renney, Willie). Please deliver, Tannenbaum.
I was much more excited a month ago. It'll be interesting to see what direction we go in, but the excitement doesn't begin too much until the draft, and then next season
Ideally we'd be doing well, but the point is, I get very excited when my favorite teams oust poor head coaches and go through the process of hiring a replacement. They usually end up letting me down when all is said and done, lets hope they do the right thing and hire Schwartz.
Well I think we can agree on one thing. The Jets needed to do something to restore hope. And if this CS were to stay, I would have absolutely no hope that they'd be successful next year.
This is exciting? Winning is exciting, never changing coaches is exciting. This just means we suck again.
That doesn't necessarily mean we'll be worse. Change is an exciting thing. We'll all probably be looking forward to Week 1 a lot more now with a new coach. Imagine if Mangini stayed? At least there will be upside to our new head coach.
im not saying im not looking forward to next year, but this is not an exciting time. i would rather keep head coaches rather than getting new ones ever so often.
