If Wilson wasn't picked in the 1st round, Conner would be my favorite pick of this draft.

My favorite line from Rex's press conference yesterday:

"I don’t want to be what keeps this team back. I want to be level with most guys, not Bellichick, but even with most guys."

Some Downs Then Ups – David Clowney will be mentioned by the beat reporters, but there were a few passes toward the front of the scrimmage portion of practice in which Clowney dropped at least two balls that I saw. Both were between the numbers. But to his credit, it looked like he dug deeper throughout the rest of practice and caught a few nice passes on sideline routes and across the middle.

Not good for a guy who is projected to be fighting for a roster spot...

I think he was trying to say that Belichick is better than other guys, not that he doesn't want to be like him.

I've really taken to TJB as of late. The guy seems very committed, keeps the new flowing and articulates his articles well. I especially love that he steps out of the MSM circuit and just does his own thing.

Side note: Anyone catch "The Beard"? This thing is in full swing...

it sucks itself into his face when it's game time, providing him with extra mojo.

Yeah it is. I love it. This guy was seemingly obsessed with his appearance for the longest time, one of the knocks on him in Cleveland. The beard seems like an ego buster to me.

Extra padding for those passes that go through his hands and into the chin!
    Sorry, too easy.
