Jilted hubby adds to claims of Belichick interference By Gayle Fee and Laura Raposa Monday, December 18, 2006 - Updated: 02:28 AM EST The ugly New Jersey divorce involving Bill Belichick just got a lot nastier with the jilted hubby now claiming that his wife is involved in ?a sexual relationship? with the New England Patriots [team stats]? head coach. Vincent Shenocca, the Jersey construction company owner whose wife, Sharon, has been huddling with the Pats? gridiron genius, has amended his divorce complaint and added ?adultery? to his list of grievances. ?I have learned that (Sharon Shenocca) has engaged in an adulterous relationship with William Belichick, head coach of the New England Patriots [team stats],? reads Shenocca?s amended complaint. ?At the time I initiated this proceeding I was not certain of the nature of (Sharon?s) relationship with Mr. Belichick. I have since learned that it is a sexual relationship that commenced well before I filed my complaint for divorce.? The adultery volley came after Sharon Shenocca moved to add ?pain and suffering? to the list of gripes she filed against her would-be ex. Judge Thomas J. Manahan, who is hearing the case in Morristown, N.J., Family Court, allowed the parties to amend their filings, even though New Jersey is a no-fault state and proving adultery won?t affect the outcome. Sharon Shenocca denied the adultery charge in a terse written response that she filed in the New Jersey court. Vincent Shenocca, 42, filed for divorce from his blond, 41-year-old bride on the grounds of ?extreme mental cruelty.? He alleged his wife of 10 years ?has had a relationship with Bill Belichick, 53, for several years? and would not end it, despite her husband?s pleas. Shenocca?s amended complaint does not give any specifics about the nature of the sexual relationship. But it asserts that Sharon ?has committed adultery with William Belichick at various times and places presently unknown . . .? Shenocca has complained in past filings that his wife and Belichick trade ?frequent? phone calls and that she has accepted ?large sums of money and expensive gifts from Mr. Belichick, which she has used to purchase expensive clothing, pocketbooks, watches, a treadmill and maid service, most of which she initially hid from (her husband).? Shenocca says the pigskin powerhouse, who met Sharon in the 1980s when she was a receptionist for the New York Giantsand he was the team?s defensive coordinator, even flew her and her sister to Super Bowl XXXVIII in Houston. The father of two has added ?emotional distress? to his litany of complaints against his wife, saying her conduct ?is so extreme and outrageous as to go beyond all possible bounds of decency.? She also denied those charges. Friends of Shenocca told the Track he is outraged that he has been forced out of his house - and into his mother?s basement, where he currently lives - but is still required to pay all the household bills and support to his future ex. Meanwhile, they say, Sharon Shenocca is living like a pampered suburban housewife, with the services of personal trainers, housekeepers and chauffeurs. She has flown - by private jet - to exotic vacation destinations and had a house on the Jersey shore for the entire summer, they say. Shenocca?s attorneys are currently attempting to get Belichick under oath in a deposition to ask if he is footing the bill for Sharon?s ?extravagant lifestyle.? Additionally, they have subpoenaed records from Sharon?s lawyers, her gym, her maid service, her psychiatrist, a storage facility and Pier I Imports to see who is picking up the tab. They also are requesting phone records from Verizon Wireless to see how much contact she has with the coach. Belichick?s attorney, Patricia Webber of Milford, has told Shenocca?s lawyers that Belichick will not be available for questioning until after the football season ends, sometime in February. But Manahan reportedly wants to set the case for trial in January. ?Shenocca?s lawyers don?t want to wait,? said one courtroom snitch. Webber is also, not surprisingly, attempting to have Belichick?s testimony impounded so that the pesky press doesn?t have a field day with the coach?s deepest secrets. You know how he hates that. . . . The attorney did not return our calls. In addition to his request for an end to the marriage, Shenocca is seeking physical custody of his two kids, child support from his wife, payment of his legal fees and an ?equitable distribution? of the marital assets. Sharon, meanwhile, also wants custody of the kids and support from Shenocca. She wants to relocate to Brooklyn to an apartment owned by Belichick. Her husband is opposing the move, saying he does not want his kids to be that far away. Meanwhile, Belichick and his wife, Deborah, filed for divorce in Middlesex Probate Court during the past year. The Belichicks, who have three kids, have been separated since 2004. That case has been impounded so no further information is available. File Under: An Aggressive Offense.
Wow, I feel for this guy. She's living the rich life and he's in the mothers basement. That shit just ain't right.
That was pretty prominent in the news up here. Truth be told, there was no purpose behind the guy amending his divorce complaint other than to break balls and leverage more dough out of his wife. Funny, though.
