So it's 2nd and 5 and the Bills are running out the clock.

Buffalo should be calling a run; the Jets can't tackle, Lynch has been gashing us, and the Bills need to keep the clock moving.

Sutton must know this and be expecting Buffalo to run. But it looked to me like he called a pass blitz since Elam came from Losman's blind side. So was it a great call by Sutton or just a combination of luck and stupidity from the Bills CS?

Terrible call by the Bills. It was probably a run blitz.

^ That was Calvin Pace who forced the fumble not Elam.

No, it was Elam. No choice but to blitz and try to force something. I think it was luck. Terrible play call.

Strange as this may sound, the Jets got the benefit of the fates today. We got pretty damn lucky and that's something that would have never happened to the SOJ's...

Terrible be playcalling by the Bills on that play. Elam forced it on his own with a great hit, so no, I don't think it's luck.

All of the above, add in a great play by Elam and Ellis.

Elam is not a great secondary player and makes some mistakes. But i love how he goes for the big play, every team needs someone like that. He made a season changing play today. And he had that big pick 6 against Buffalo last time

It was probably just a run blitz that ended up working out rather well.

Throughout my 42 years as a Jets fan, there have been several dozens of games that we have screwed up with rediculous things happening at the end of games. Other then the Vinny T. TD call vs. Seatlle is 98, this is the only time I can remember that "fate"? was on our side. I'll take it and move on.

Exactly. The Jets are always on the other side of this situation. Not many times have the Jets won a game that the other team had in the bag

Sutton called a Prevent D and Elam said "Nah , Fuck this shit!" an Blitzed himself and won us the game. Sutton was on the sidelines smelling his fingers after removing them from his bung...

Come on the it was an obvious play where everyone lines up in the box and if you dont have a WR to cover then you are rushing into the back field
