Similar to Colts-Pats but not about Brady v Manning but Defense v Defense like the Ravens-Steelers, not to mention when Rex came over he pretty much adapted the "Ravens" style of football and made it the "Jet" brand of football and has had success with it(Similar to when Pat Riley took the Knick brand of ball to South Beach). Ray Lewis said it himself that it was personal between whenever Rex is involved and you know Rex makes it personal against every team we play but this being the organization Rex spent nearly 10 years with, there's going to be something extra this game. Thoughts?
The ravens have similarities when you compare them to the Jets. Good defense and you'll get the Flacco vs Sanchez thrown out here and there. We do match up well throughout. Come to think of it, we both lost to the same teams in the playoffs the last two years only that they got kicked one round earlier. As for the long run I'll say the Jets have the edge. Ray lewis and Reed are up there in age.
We haven't beaten Baltimore since 1997, an OT game where Vinny was the Ravens starter. That is the ONLY time we beat them. Hopefully that changes this week.
I am very scared for Sanchez. Schotty better learn to call max protect and at times 2 back sets because Ngata will be in the backfield almost every play with the way this O-Line is playing.
We're two very similar teams except that the Jets attract more hatred than the Ravens. No one seems to hate the Ravens except for Steelers fans.
Why do most of your threads suck? How the fuck can the Ravens be a rivalry if the Jets can't beat them?
Deathstroke don't listen to the haters, keep up the great threads. They are just jealous, besides with the new forum rules report them. This is supposed to be a kinder gentler place. We are supposed to foster good debate here.... Maybe you can revive one of your awesome threads like "Could we hire Mangini back in some capacity?" or "Lets be real here, were not a running team" the board needs it."
You forgot some of his instant hits like "We're wearing the green pants today", "Winning the Wilcard would be in our best interests", and "If we make the Superbowl were probably going to lose"
Why would they allow Baxter to play him straight up? Ngata will be doubled all game, it's Suggs you have to worry about.
