Ok, well that's definitely not true, that chances he falls to 5 or 6 are VERY high, considering the potential top 4 picks all have drafted an RB in the first round in the last 5 years (Bills, Saints, Dolphins, and Rams) with the Falcons being the only one who could use an RB (although they are way more troublesome at QB). And we could very easily use McFadden. I have not been impressed at all with our offense, and he would give us a bit time playmaker who's a threat to score regardless of the field position...the one major thing we're lacking on offnse. That being said, I think defense, defensively line mainly, should be our first round pick, or even offensive line considering that Thomas Jones's ability is severly crippled by our RT, our Guards, and Pennington...

No? Where have you been? The Pats forfeited their pick -- they didn't give it to us. The NFL just kind of made their pick...vanish.
Its alright, but yeah we dont get the pats pick but atleast they dont use it. I agree with your philosphy though if we cant trade out to get 2 1st rounders we should draft McFadden. And to that guy that said mcfadden is guranteed top #1 overall, yeah and so was Reggie Bush.
Yeah, I actually think the Dolphins will take Jake Long #1 overall, remember they drafted John Beck from BYU and they have Ronnie Brown...no need for a QB or a running back. They could trade down a few spots and still grab Jake Long, but I think he's destined for the top 3 picks. If they take Jake Long, we'll only have to trade up a pick or so, but if things keep getting worse, McFadden might fall into our laps at number 2...
write this down....I Guarantee that we wont pick McFadden, even if he is available at our pick.... why? because its obvious that the biggest need on this team defense, not offense! We will trade our pick away if he is there, and stockpile picks to draft a DT, DE, OLB, and S....unless of course, you want to relive the horrible season that is 2007....NO defense, NO chance! unless of course we pick up all these positions in Free Agency
Of course, it'll never happen........... unless it does. LOL We got to take Mcfadden. We have money for free agents, 2-4th round picks to help the Defense and players that can be traded for picks. We need RunDMC.
