Let's not nitpick or correct others for our record and schedule predictions; let's just go on record with our Jets of 2021 record predictions (and keep it moving). @ Carolina = Win. vs. Patriots = Win. @ Denver = Win. vs. Titans = Loss. vs. Falcons = Win. (Bye week). @ New England = Win. vs. Bengals = Win. @ Indianapolis = Loss. vs. Bills = Loss. vs. Dolphins = Win. @ Houston = Win. vs. Eagles = Win. vs. Saints = Win. @ Miami = Win. vs. Jaguars = Win. vs. Buccaneers = Loss. @ Buffalo = Win. ▪︎ 5-1 within the AFC East. ▪︎ 9-3 within the AFC. ▪︎ 13-4 overall. ▪︎AFC East Champions (for the first since 1998/2002).
Copy and paste (below) in order to fill in the blanks. @ Carolina = vs. Patriots = @ Denver = vs. Titans = vs. Falcons = (Bye week). @ New England = vs. Bengals = @ Indianapolis = vs. Bills = vs. Dolphins = @ Houston = vs. Eagles = vs. Saints = @ Miami = vs. Jaguars = vs. Buccaneers = @ Buffalo = (Plesse no (blank) record predictions such as 0-17, 4-13, 9-8, 12-5, 17-0 etc because predicting our schedule team by team makes our predictions more intriguing (fun).

I think 8 or 9 wins is the Jets ceiling this year, but at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is the growth of our young players and #2.

Yes. Last year I predicted (word for word) "3-13 at best with potential for a 1-15 Rich Kotite type of 1996 disaster". And we finished exactly the middle of my 1-15/3-13 prediction @ 2-14 and thankfully due to coach Robert Saleh and a revamped culture change those feelings are long gone. I haven't been this A+ excited since heading into 2009 while screaming Top 5 Defense and the Playoffs under Rex Ryan all while 90% of Jets fans said oh lord and laughed @ me because of a Rookie QB and 1st year HC etc. This 2021 team is fully loaded in talent. • We'll have a top 5 Defense under coach Robert Saleh and being led by C.J. Mosley and Quinnen Williams too. • We'll have a top 5 run game due to Mekhi Becton/Vera-Tucker/Morgan Moses feasting @ LT/LG/RT as D'Brickishaw Ferguson/Nick Mangold/Damien Woody feasted @ LT/C/RT. • Our Ofrense is much more talented than 2009's; especially our QB Zach Wilson and all of his WRs. We thought 1997 and 2009 were magical turnarounds? 2021 will become the most magical turnaround of them all.

I gave us a few wins/losses there, but we really don't know much about those teams right now. Bengals could stink worse than us, or Burrow could move them to a higher eschelon if healthy. We'll find out.

Some of the wins might turn into losses because of mistakes by a young team, but if they're competitive in all their games, I won't be too disappointed. The main thing I want to see is for Zach to progress and grow into the FQB we need.
