Post everything about upcoming, current games and any news that doesnt deserve a thread but is newsworthy. CM vs. BC Tomorrow night ND vs. Georgia Tech I say ND 41, GT 24
Ive been very impressed w/ missisippi state's defense thus far. Really getting pressure on the qb and shutting down Rice.
That was a much better game then I expected (SC vs. Mississippi St.). South Carolina's offense looked confused for most of the game, other than that flee flicker really.
Mississippi State did have a very good defense however their offense didnt do much. However they did better than I expected.
That was a very nice SEC matchup. I'm picking ND 34 - GT 24 in that game. Expect that to go down to the wire. Excited to see Penn State and Morelli on Saturday, but since it's gunna pour I don't think we'll get a good look of what he can do, and we'll see a lot of Tony Hunt/Austin Scott behind Brandon Snow and Levi Brown. Atleast we get to play a good crappy-conference team to warm up for next Saturday.
yeaaa baby....miss st does have a very good and athletic defense....i liked this game a lot better than a shootout, because i expect our offense to start clicking, and our defense which was a ? played very, very well.....miss st was heavily guarding sidney rice, and he is still a little dinged up with a hurt shoulder we got back #3 corey boyd at running back this year and he looked pretty good running the ball (he's the one that caught the wr touchdown pass also)
Thanks man, I missed the place on my vacation. This weekend should have some great games, and who knows? A few classics.
Syracuse takes Iowa to OT. Up 13-10 now, Iowa needs to score. I wish they'd change the OT Field Position rule. Maybe move them out 5 or 10 yards each time instead of the dumb 2-point conversion thing.
damn syracuse teases me soo much in football and basketball, 6-4, 245 QB, yeah qb sneak probably wouldnt work............
I hate Nebraska, because they play teams like this and they get away with it. Grow some balls play a team like Indiana State or something.
At what point should Florida State become concerned about their running game? They beat Troy by only a touchdown with less than 2 minutes to play on the strength of 43 rushing yards on 27 carries for the entire game. If not for a gutty performance by Drew Weatherford the Trojans would've pulled off the upset.
