    Interesting episode last night.

    From the obvious hints dropped, I'd guess Ryan is addicted to cocaine and that Troy is his dealer.

    The original BBC series is TV gold. I have it all on DVD. The cringe factor is about 11 on some scenes and I still can't watch.
    For some reason your TV execs don't think you will understand the British refrences and nuances. I don't know why they have to re-write these brilliant shows.

    I agree that the British version of The Office was amazing and well outdid the American version. The American version of The Office ruins the boss, who is supposed to be the whole show or at least he was in the British version. The only thing about the American version that is superior is Dwight, whose British counterpart was not as funny. But, overall, the British version is more original and funnier.

    it's not really fair to compare it to longer running comedies over here since they only had like 12 episodes but minute for minute it's probably the funniest show ever right up there with CYE's first few seasons.

    You need to see the whole episode, or the whole series for that matter. The bald guy is there for team building training and David takes over in his usual way. The bit after that where they role play is hilarious.

    oh, reminds me of Mr. Brown in the US version. He comes there for diversity training or something, and of course Michael Scott disrupts it, including saying several times that the guy's name couldn't possibly be "Brown" :lol:
