Oh my god, what a joke. Nothing that hasn't already been said but this is downright scary to watch. There isn't a single player on this offense right now who I am impressed with. They could replace literally anybody and I wouldnt be upset. That includes anyone on the O-Line, Ivory, whoever. Brian Winters is the worst guard in the NFL. He's not ready to play. Geno Smith is terrible, but on top of that he has no blocking and poor receivers. The biggest mistake Idzik could make would be bringing him back next year as the starter. He needs to be on the bench next year. Look how long it took a guy like Foles to finally gain the trust of a coach. Nothing wrong with sitting a guy and then giving him another shot down the road, maybe some point next year, maybe the year after that. I'm not saying cut him, that would be stupid. But i'm tired of just handing guys the job year after year. Trade for Cousins, sign Cutler if he's available or hell, even McCown, whatever. I'm sick of watching the Mark Sanchez's and Geno Smith's of the world QB for us. We've wasted really good/above average defenses with poor QB play for the last 5 years. I want a veteran at that position who is at the very least "capable" going into next season. Even if they decide to draft a guy early next year they HAVE TO bring in a veteran who can play. Honestly it would have been smart to give Garrard a look these last few weeks and see what he has left. You need to know if he can play if your going to go the veteran route next off season... I still dont want Rex to be axed as coach. I want to see him with a capable QB on offense. But it would be hard to complain if he got fired. The offense has been so bad and it's been on his watch.
Gotta get a new QB, two new WRs and two new OGs. Probably wont be able to acquire all of that in one off season. Kirk Cousins looked good today.
Exactly, thats what scares me. Hopefully Idzik won't let things like that happen. I'm not saying MM should be fired now, there is no talent on O. But we can't have blind faith in coaches and players.
Probably not, but we can start. I wouldn't mind a trade for Cousins, draft a receiver early and sign a veteran. That would be something.
We'll find out. He's as good as gone. He hasn't been a force in this league since 2010. He would probably go somewhere as a fringe #2 and have to prove himself to a new team.
That's ridiculous. Jets need to bring in a veteran QB and wr. And then draft a wr early this year. Have geno, the veteran and if they draft or restructure Sanchez compete to be the starter next year
At least we were in the game at the beginning of the 4th quarter this time around, lmao. Offense is crap but so is the defense, the D-line even decided to play like poo the last 3 weeks. Panthers offense isn't that good and they were good today. A lot of work needs to be done especially on offense.

Agreed Thing that sucks is that it's hard to evaluate a coach when the offense is so poor to begin with. I don't think MM is the problem at all.
