We’re on the Lions trajectory but it might be even worse. As bad as they were ridiculed in the 1990’s they made the playoffs 6 times. But we’re on the 2000-2022 Lions trajectory and at this point we’ll be lucky to make the playoffs the 3 times they’ve made it.
We're staring into the abyss of becoming the worst franchise in professional sports. And, honestly, I don't think the now 13 year playoff drought ends anytime soon. This franchise could easily go another 13 years without making it. There's nothing that they're doing that suggests to me that any kind of corner is about to be turned anytime soon.
Speaking of the Lions fire Saleh, fire Hackett immediately and hire the Lions offensive coordinator to be HC next year. That kid is smart and creative. If Rodgers can’t play with him then Rodgers can go F himself too
Ben Johnson turned down HC opportunities last year, there's no way he would come here for 1 year of Rodgers
We are not on the true lion trajectory…. year 2 of our he Dan Camble regime, they went 9-8. Year 3 they are Super Bowl contenders, the real kind. Not the fraud ones the jets thought they were before this season
I want everyone to sit down for this. This thread, in it's entirety is misleading. We aren't on the Lions trajectory. That would imply that the Jets are somehow superior in any form or fashion. We're not. TRUST me, outside NY we are just as much a laughing stock as the Lions ever were. The only difference is somehow they have seemed to find themselves a head coach and enough players to be exactly what the Jets were SUPPOSED to be in 2023. Yet, in TRUE JETS FASHION, that never materialized . FACT: The New York Jets have made the playoffs exactly FOURTEEN times in their ENTIRE history. That's 60 years for people who are counting. The Giants & Steelers have made it 33 times, which ranks third. The top is Dallas and Green Bay with 35 each. FOURTEEN times out of 60 opportunities in the largest and most resourceful city in the world. It's a joke that is no longer a joke.
I used to think franchises like the cardinals, bengals, browns, lions were at least worse than the Jets. I really think we’re down to the Panthers.
I'm smart and humble enough to not dog any franchises historical inadequacies but the Lions have 1 playoff win in 60+ years. 1. Now that's rough.
Over the last decade we're worse. Right now they're in the worst position of any NFL team. Of course they'll probably pass us in a couple years.
the ny jets are in a league of their own, we are an all sports laughing stock. no other team in any sport is as dysfunctional as these ass clowns.
The NFL should start a junior league like European soccer and stuff the Jets into it, to be forgotten. Not even allowed to play against good teams. They'd be like Milton Waddams.
