The Jets activated QB Aaron Rodgers from injured reserve

He probably requested it even though he will not play.

 

He wants to practice with his guys. He will bring them peace and calm.

 

It just occurred to me, the Jets now have 4 QBs on the active roster.

 

Probably only until they have a better report on Zach, maybe stick him on IR. Or Rypien back to the practice squad.

 

And they all suck!

 

If he's not playing, why is he taking a roster spot?

Lol you guys are mad over nothing, this is such a nonstory but because Aaron Rodgers is involved holy shit the world is ending and he's such a bad guy or the Jets are a clown show.

People are actually upset over a guy they didn't even know existed 12 hours ago.

 

This is a nothingburger. The Jets keep 10-11 defensive lineman and 6 corners every week while our offensive line is crumbling. I’d be more pissed about than activating Rodgers.

 

I don’t think it has anything to do with football. They are doing it so Rodgers can claim victory over the injury, even though he can’t play. Really stupid

 

at least those guys can play though

 

Do the Jets even have 9 able bodies for the game? We know they can’t field at least 2 competent offensive linemen at a time now…

We’re stuck with Rodgers for next year so him practicing and getting used to playing with all of these guys is a lot more important than a fullback that plays on punts.

 

That's what I am asking. I don't think this is normal procedure at all, I have no idea if another team has done this

 

This is exactly right. This season is over. Our starting QB for next year missed a lot of time, never really played with the guys aside from a few drives, and they are getting head start for next year - like early OTAs. That part makes sense. The part that doesn't is why was Bawden on the roster to begin with and we let go of Colon who could actually help protect our QBs from injury and is doing a solid job in Arizona who claimed him off our waivers.

 

There's still a chance to see AR play in a high profile game.

That's great, since it is literally a flag football game now. For some reason, I think he would still get injured.
