With Thanksgiving in a few days and Christmas around the corner, don't forget that their are a lot of people out there who are less fortunate. Drop some canned goods in the donation box at your local supermarket or donate some toys or winter coats.
Seriously. Tis the season to be guilted into buying a toy to put in a donation box. If you don't do a charity donation with every paycheck, it's kind of weak to scrape together some singles to do it right before Christmas.
I don't think the kids care really. It's great that you do more, but those that open up their wallets so a kid can have 1 fucking happy day a year, shouldn't be scolded for it. It doesn't sound like a lot, but collectively it is thousands of presents under trees for little knot heads that may not have gotten anything otherwise. Spread some cheer brother.
