ESPN has fallen so far off the page that they now are resorting to just retarded comedy bits instead of just reporting the news. I couldn't even make it through a minute of that segment.
Listen, and understand. The Herminator is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.
Well, seriously, Herman Edwards probably signed a couple-year deal as an ESPN analyst, and then when they actually got him into a film room and realize, as Jets fans did during a painful 5 year span, that this man stopped caring about the X's and O's side of football around the same time he stopped playing for the Eagles. Or possibly a while before that. He is a caricature. There was a while there where I would listen to this guy in Jets pressers and it was almost like he was trying to play a character listed in movie credits as 'Motivational Football Coach' and coming up with outlandish speeches to camoflage the fact that he had no way of answering some of the questions posed to him in pressers. Herman Edwards is the George W. Bush of NFL coaches. All ESPN can do now is make the most of his ability and diligence to make a fool out of himself.
